Prime Lamb
The Balmullin aggregation is made up of three grazing and farming properties “Balmullin”, “Berridale” and “Boxwood Park”.
The aggregation runs a traditional first cross ewe flock with ewes selected on fertility, size and body shape as well as traits of rapid growth and early maturity.
Our first cross ewes are joined to White suffolks and Polled Dorset Rams.
Young ewes are joined to the lower birth weight White Suffolks and the older mature ewes are joined to Polled Dorset Rams to produce a fast growing tender sucker lamb.
Lambs are finished on fodder crops and irrigated Lucerne for even growth and consistent type.

Ben Harrison – Manager
Ben joined the group in 2017 working on both the sheep and cattle aggregations before taking on the Sheep Managers role in 2018.
A graduate of Victoria’s Longerenong College, Ben’s knowledge of high production pastures and Prime Lamb production is outstanding.
